Expungement Workshop
There are no guarantees but there are possiblities.
Please join Centers For New Horizons ReEntry Program, in partnership with CARPLS & New Leaf, for an expungement/sealing workshop on April 9, 2025.
CARPLS provides brief telephonic legal services on almost all kinds of legal matters, including general expungements/sealings. So, at these expungement/sealing workshops, we're here to help. We don't turn anyone away and welcome anyone seeking information or assistance regarding expunging/sealing their criminal record.
New Leaf is a network of 17 Illinois nonprofits helping anyone ever arrested for a state cannabis offense clear their cannabis and non-cannabis criminal record.
If you have a current rap sheet, please feel free to bring it with you. However, if you do not have a rap sheet, you are still encouraged to come. We can talk to you about your specific situation and help get you started on expunging/sealing your record.
ALL IN NEED ARE WELCOME & INVITED
* The workshop is intended for informational purposes only, to get you started on the road to success and to introduce you - the "client" - to Legal Aid Professionals that can assist with insight and next steps with expungement & sealing.
