We offer specialized, employment-focused training and job placement assistance tailored to meet the unique needs of Chicago's out-of-work and underemployed job seekers. Additionally, our Youth Employment Services empower young individuals with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to succeed in the workforce. Workforce & Economic Development Programs

EmPowerU

A career development and job placement initiative for youth aged 16-24, designed to provide hands-on job experience, life skills training, and career readiness support. Through personalized coaching, job placements, and community engagement, the program equips participants with the tools they need to achieve long-term success in the workforce.

The Englewood Reentry Center

Supports justice impacted individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration, or anyone with a background, by providing personalized case management, job readiness training, resources, and referrals. Focused on reducing recidivism and promoting independence, the program helps participants rebuild their lives through employment opportunities, skill-building, and community resources.

The Employment Placement Program (EPP)

Connects job seekers with career opportunities through personalized support, job readiness training, and direct job placements. The program focuses on building participants' skills, enhancing employability, and fostering long-term career success through strong community partnerships. The goal is to ensure clients maintain steady employment by providing ongoing support and staying connected through case management.

The Transitional Jobs (TJ) Program

Provides short-term, subsidized employment opportunities to help individuals with limited work experience or barriers to employment re-enter the workforce. Through paid work experience, job readiness training, and supportive services, the program equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to secure long-term, unsubsidized employment.
